Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an experienced outside Sales Consultant to promote a broad range of Sysco products and services. You will build relationships with new and existing accounts, work flexible hours, and strive to meet sales and profit goals within the assigned territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR HSD/GED and 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience, or equivalent relatable experience including completion of the Sysco Sales Internship.
• Bi-lingual preferred.
• Valid driver's license with insurability.
• Pass employment testing.
• Reside or relocate near territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Seek and qualify prospects following account stratification goals.
• Research customer needs and develop a mix of products/services to meet them.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products based on business needs.
• Provide product information and training to customer personnel.
• Drive to customer accounts, conventions, and company meetings.
• Coordinate deliveries per routing schedule and resolve order issues.
• Review daily/weekly reports and assist with budgets, quotes, and records.
