Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an experienced Sales Professional, Restaurant Manager, or Chef for an outside sales role in Grand Junction, CO. You will promote Sysco products, build relationships with new and existing accounts, and work non-traditional hours as needed to meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or equivalent experience including Sysco Sales Internship, with strong English communication, MS Office skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or HSD/GED with related sales/restaurant management experience, including Sysco Sales Internship.
• Bi-Lingual is a plus.
• Restaurant Management, Foodservice Outside Sales, Chef Experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with insurability.
• Auto insurance with required limits.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Qualify prospects following account stratification goals.
• Research customer business needs and tailor product/service mix.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products based on business goals.
• Share market and product information as value-added service.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer locations and events.
