Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking an experienced Sales Professional/Restaurant Manager or Chef for outside sales in Cincinnati, OH. You will promote Sysco products and services, build relationships with new and existing accounts, and drive profitable sales in the assigned territory.

The role may require non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet customers' needs. Training and career pathing are emphasized, with a robust benefits package and promotional incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR HSD/GED with 3 years Restaurant Management or outside sales experience.
• Bi-Lingual is preferred
• Valid driver’s license with insurability standards; auto insurance minimums specified.
• Reside or willing to relocate to the geographic vicinity of territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Seek and qualify prospects following account stratification goals.
• Research customer business needs and develop a mix of products and services to meet needs.
• Evaluate market trends and recommend products to customers.
• Be informed of market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales; share information with customers.
• Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, and product use.
• Provide product information and practical training to customer personnel.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts, conventions, and meetings.
• Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary.
• Manage deliveries to routing schedule; troubleshoot issues during order process.
• Attend and participate in sales and district meetings; engage in ongoing training.
