Job summary

Sysco is seeking an experienced Sales Professional for outside sales in California. You will promote products, build relationships with new and existing accounts, and work to meet sales and profit goals. Some non-traditional hours may be required to serve customers effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related, OR HSD/GED with 3 years relevant experience.
• Experience in Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales preferred.
• Completion of Sysco Sales Internship counts.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and penetrate accounts to achieve profitable sales growth.
• Qualify prospects and research customer needs to tailor product solutions.
• Present product information and provide training to customer personnel.
• Drive sales activities and manage administrative duties such as budgets and quotes.
• Attend meetings and participate in sales and district events.
