Job summary

Colliers seeks a seasoned field service technician to manage end-to-end lifecycle tasks across gastronomy equipment and facilities. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, install, and remove equipment, ensuring uptime for Chick-fil-A kitchen systems and related HVAC and refrigeration platforms in a local market.

You will document activities with mobile tools, maintain vehicle and parts inventory, and participate in after-hours on-call rotation, while advancing OEM certifications and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Technical trade program and/or significant hands-on experience; minimum 5+ years in a related trade (or equivalent).
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance and a safe driving history (MVR required); able to operate company vehicles safely.
• Mechanical aptitude; fluent in reading schematics/diagrams; strong troubleshooting capability.
• Competent with Microsoft Word, Excel, and mobile service applications; excellent written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end equipment lifecycle tasks: troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair, installation, and removal.
• Maintain commercial cooking platforms, sealed refrigeration, specialty foodservice equipment, and base building HVAC systems.
• Meet service level agreements by responding promptly to Operator requests.
• Service and calibrate equipment from noted manufacturers; coordinate parts with vendors.
• Execute documentation: work orders, timekeeping, receipts, and inventory using mobile tools and MS Office.
• Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation for urgent needs.
