Job summary

Mars Incorporated is seeking a Manager, Foodservice Channel Intelligence in Chicago. The role leads primary research, leverages syndicated data, and builds trend foresight to inform commercial strategy and portfolio decisions. It requires strong storytelling and cross-functional collaboration to drive growth in Mars Foodservice.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; MBA/Graduate-level degree a plus.
5+ years of professional experience in mixed-methods market research across shopper, consumer, and/or B2B insights.
Experience leading qualitative and quantitative primary research projects (focus groups and surveys).
Expertise leveraging secondary research and syndicated data.

Responsibilities

Lead qualitative and quantitative primary research with foodservice, vending, and unattended retail decision makers.
Drive understanding of operator and consumer needs; develop solutions addressing both.
Synthesize multiple sources of information into actionable business recommendations.
Partner with Sales, Innovation, Category, and Portfolio teams to support planning and growth initiatives.
Develop forward-looking insights to anticipate change and inform priorities.
Craft compelling, insight-led stories to strengthen customer engagement.
