Job summary

Unilever in Hoboken, NJ seeks an Assistant Category Strategy Manager for Foods to shape growth at the intersection of insights, shopper understanding, and retail execution. You will translate data into recommendations, support category growth strategies, and develop customer-facing stories across Condiments, Cooking Aids and Mini Meals.

You’ll collaborate with Brand Teams, Consumer & Shopper Insights, Field Category Management, Sales and Shopper Marketing to deliver impactful insights and define

Qualifications

• Two to four years in Category Management, Sales, Shopper or Consumer Insights, Retail, or related analytical field.
• Experience developing category stories or customer-facing recommendations.
• Strong written, verbal, storytelling, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate category, shopper, consumer, and retail insights into growth opportunities and actions.
• Develop category growth strategies, shelving recommendations, and assortment decisions.
• Create data-led materials to influence internal stakeholders and retailers.
• Collaborate with Field Category Management and Sales to implement national strategies.
• Incorporate voice of the customer into innovation and business planning.
• Lead defined category strategy workstreams from analysis to delivery.
• Maintain and improve Category Management tools, processes, and best practices.
