Greater Somerset County YMCA (GSCY) in Somerset County, NJ, is seeking a part-time Food Worker for the Somerville Preschool program. The role supports daily meal service, receiving and organizing meals for classrooms, with approximately 2–4 hours per day (9am–1pm).

Responsibilities include preparing and distributing meals, monitoring temperatures, maintaining meal counts and basic records, and ensuring food-safety procedures.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food-service, school, or childcare preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation preferred.
• Dependable, organized and able to follow established procedures.
• Ability to complete basic meal counts and records accurately.
• Ability to lift and transport food and meal-service supplies.
• Must complete required YMCA and food-service trainings.

Somerville YMCA is seeking a part-time Food Worker to support daily meal service for our Preschool program. This position is responsible for receiving, organizing and distributing meals and maintaining a clean and safe food-service area.
