Job summary

Lutheran Social Service MN is a dynamic social service organization delivering meals to children, youth, families and individuals. This role offers a flexible schedule with no weekends and a key position in the local community, driving a company van Monday through Friday.

The successful candidate will deliver up to approximately six meals daily, must hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to read and follow verbal instructions. A BCA background study and MVR check are required for employment.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Driver’s License and be able to lift safely.
• Ability to deliver food in all weather conditions.
• Able to read and follow verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bulk meals to satellite sites, up to six deliveries daily.
• Drive a company van, Monday to Friday, 9:30am–12:30pm.
• Follow MN State Department of Health food handling regulations and complete required checks.

This position is M-F 9:30am-12:30pm driving a company Van
The driver will follow MN State Department of Health food handling regulations and deliver bulk food at designated times to satellite sites. Will deliver up to approximately six deliveries daily and transport up to 1,500+ meals per day.
Job Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License and instructions on proper lifting.
• Must be able to deliver food and drive in all types of weather conditions.
• Must be able to read and follow verbal instructions.

The successful candidate must be cleared by a Bureau of Criminal Affairs (BCA) background study and have a drivers’ license; a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) is required.
