Job summary

Lutheran Social Service MN seeks a part-time Food Delivery Driver to support local meals programs. The role operates Monday through Friday, 9:30am to 12:30pm, driving a company van and delivering meals to satellite sites while following safety and food handling rules.

This position emphasizes community impact with no weekend work; candidates must have a valid driver's license, pass a BCA background check, and comply with a Motor Vehicle Check.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to read and follow verbal instructions.
• Must be able to deliver food and drive in all weather conditions.
• Background check: Bureau of Criminal Affairs (BCA) clearance.
• Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) required.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company van and deliver bulk food to satellite sites.
• Complete up to six deliveries daily and transport up to 1,500+ meals per day.
• Follow MN State Department of Health food handling regulations.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:30am–12:30pm; no weekends.

This position is M-F 9:30am-12:30pm driving a company Van

The driver will follow MN State Department of Health food handling regulations and deliver bulk food at designated times to satellite sites. Will deliver up to approximately six deliveries daily and transport up to 1,500+ meals per day.

Job Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License and instructions on proper lifting.
• Must be able to deliver food and drive in all types of weather conditions.
• Must be able to read and follow verbal instructions.

The successful candidate must be cleared by a Bureau of Criminal Affairs (BCA) background study and have a drivers’ license; a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) is required.
