Job summary

Sodexo at ST. DAVID'S SOUTH AUSTIN MEDICAL CENTER is seeking a Food Supervisor to oversee daily operations of on-site food service teams across fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias and events.

You will coordinate routine work and provide quality control while supporting management on-site. The role requires 1+ years of supervisory experience and a collaborative mindset, with flexibility for varying shifts.

• 1+ years of related work experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
• Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees.
• Facilitate orientation and training of employees
• Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

Workdays/shifts: Varying shifts, days/hours (open availability preferred). More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-Time Rotation Shift

Pay Range: $23.00 - $26.00

What You’ll Do:

As a Food Supervisor at Sodexo, you are a master multitasker and a quality-of-life improver. You will provides oversight at the direction of management on-site to coordinate routine work activities of service employees engaged in food operations, including but not limited to fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events/banquets, casual dining and cafes.
