Responsibilities include producing ingredients, transporting items safely, ensuring proper food storage, and helping with tray preparation and delivery as needed. Arizona sanitation requirements apply.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in food preparation or food services.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards.
• Arizona Health Department Sanitation Certificate or ServeSafe/Arizona Food Handler Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares ingredients by washing, peeling, cutting, and measuring items.
• Safely transports pans, kettles, and trays between workstations, following safety protocols.
• Properly stores food using FIFO and dating procedures.
• Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure food quality and portion control.
• Sets up serving line and monitors temperatures, notifying chef of deviations.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of work areas throughout shifts.
• Assists in meal tray prep and delivery to designated areas as needed.
• Collaborates with team to support efficient food service operations.
