Job summary

Hunter Super Techs - TurnPoint is seeking a full-time Dietitian in Forks, WA to provide clinical nutrition assessments and dietary counseling. The role includes taking diet histories, supervising nutrition aspects of patient care, and assisting with modified diet prescriptions.

The ideal candidate holds state certification as a Dietitian, is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (CDR), and possesses a BS in Foods & Nutrition or related field with at least two years of clinical dietetics

Qualifications

• Washington State Certified Dietitian.
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Valid Food Handler’s Permit.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Foods & Nutrition or a related field, preferred.
• Two years of clinical dietetics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical nutrition assessments.
• Instructs patients about special diets.
• Takes diet histories and supervises the nutritional aspects of patient care.
• Writes and assists with modified diet prescriptions.
• Assists with the development of workable cycle menu plans.
• Serves as a resource to the Hospital staff and community groups.
• Contributes to broadening the Dietary Department’s services to the patient.
