Forks Community Hospital is seeking a licensed dietitian to provide clinical nutrition assessments, educate patients on special diets, take diet histories and supervise nutrition in patient care. You will write and assist with modified diet prescriptions and help develop cycle menus while supporting staff and community outreach.
Ideal candidate holds Washington State Certified Dietitian and RD credentials, with a BS in Foods & Nutrition and 2+ years of clinical dietetics experience.
Provides clinical nutrition assessments, instructs patients about special diets, takes diet histories and supervises the nutritional aspects of patient care. Writes and assists with modified diet prescriptions, assists with the development of workable cycle menu plans and serves as a resource to the Hospital staff and community groups. Contributes to broadening the Dietary Department’s services to the patient.
QUALIFICATIONS: Washington State Certified Dietitian. Registered Dietician Nutritionist certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Valid Food Handler’s Permit. Bachelor of Science degree in Foods & Nutrition or a related field, preferred. Two years of clinical dietetics experience preferred
