Job summary

Yona is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) for Food Services to support the dietary department of a long-term care facility. You will assist with organizing, planning, directing, and supervising the dining program to ensure high-quality meals for residents, guests, and staff.

The role requires an associate degree in food service management or hospitality, Supervisory experience in food service, and ServSafe Certification; CDM/CFPP credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in food service management or hospitality from an accredited institution.
• Two years of supervisory food service experience in long-term care preferred.
• ServSafe Certification for Managers (or equivalent).
• CDM/CFPP credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Food Services Director with leading dining programs ensuring quality meals for residents.
• Train staff and supervise meal service operations.
• Maintain records: inventory, compliance, budgets, staffing and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for food service.
• Promote resident satisfaction and professional growth within the team.
