Job summary

Yona Solutions is seeking a Manager in Training for Food Services in Beardstown, Illinois. The MIT will learn to assist with organizing, planning, directing, controlling, and supervising functions and personnel within the dietary department which provides food and nutrition services to residents in a long-term care facility.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in food service management or hospitality required.
• Experience supervising staff in a long-term care or food service setting preferred.
• Certifications in food protection or dietary management are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Food Services Director with leading quality dining programs for residents.
• Ensure dining programs meet federal, state, and local standards and regulations.
• Train staff on procedures and equipment operation.
• Supervise and evaluate department staff performance.
• Plan staffing to ensure adequate service levels and maintain records.
