Job summary

Hunger Mountain Co-op is seeking a Cross Department Clerk in the Food Services Department to provide coverage across multiple positions including Cheese, Wine & Beer Assistant, Deli Packager, Deli Counter Service, and Dish & Kitchen Assistant. The role supports a full-time schedule and may rotate among listed duties as needed.

Primary responsibilities include packaging, labeling, displaying Grab and Go items, and assisting with kitchen tasks while maintaining sanitation and customer service

Responsibilities

• Package and label prepared food following merchandising guidelines.
• Create and maintain attractive Grab and Go display.
• Rotate items by date to maintain freshness and separate batches.
• Ensure labels and signs have accurate ingredients and pricing.
• Assist with food preparation in the kitchen as needed.
• Serve customers at the sandwich counter, deli and espresso bar with courtesy.
