Job summary

Complete Care at Meriden is hiring a Food Services Director/Dietary Manager to lead the daily operations of the dietary department in a long-term care setting. This full-time role requires ServSafe-capable leadership, inspections, and collaboration with administration to maintain safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, a Certified Dietary Manager Certification (or willingness to obtain it), and 2+ years of management experience overseeing meals, purchasing, production,

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Dietary Manager Certification or willing to become certified.
• 2+ years of experience in food service management.
• Long term care dietary management experience preferred.
• Inspects the Dietary Department daily to ensure safety and sanitation.
• Submits written reports to the administration as necessary.
• Plans nutritionally balanced and therapeutic meals reflecting residents' preferences and Public Health regulations.
• Directs and supervises all dietary functions and personnel.
• Hires, orients, trains, counsels, disciplines, and when appropriate, terminates dietary employees.
• Computer knowledge.
