Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a part-time Food Service Associate to support Cafeteria, Catering, Cold Food Preparation, Trayline, and Dishroom operations. You will set up and serve meals, handle cashiering duties, and assemble patient trays with care.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to read and write, and prior food service experience; works in person with standing most of the time and ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and write required.
• One year previous experience in a commercial restaurant or a food service department preferred.

Summary

Required Education

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and write required.

Experience

Responsibilities

• Sets up and/or serves food to customers

Working Conditions

• Works in assigned area under generally comfortable working conditions with exposure to splashing water, and cleaning agents. Occasional exposure to extreme working conditions (hot and cold).
• Standing 100% of the time.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds from floor to shoulder level or shoulder to floor.
• Ability to push carts containing food trays weighing up to 100 pounds.
