HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital is seeking a Food Services Assistant PRN to join our patient-centered team. You will assist with food prep, dishwashing, tray assembly, and serving in cafeteria and patient rooms. No travel or prior experience required, and you will work on-site in a supportive environment within the HCA network.

We follow standard precautions and provide PPE. Our facility emphasizes caring and teamwork, with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth across the HCA

• You will perform routine duties related to preparation and serving of food.
• You will prepare food for cooking by washing, peeling, shredding, slicing, and mixing various food items.
• You will operate dishwasher or assist with washing/sterilizing dishes, glassware, silverware, utensils, pots, pans, etc.
• You will clean kitchen work areas, collect and dispose of garbage.
• You will assist with food stocking.
• You will serve food in cafeteria for visitors and staff and in patient room.
• You will work in the dish room when needed.
• You will work on patient tray assembly line following menu directives for determining food items for each tray.
• You will follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
