HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Food Services Assistant PRN to support meal preparation and serving for visitors, staff, and patients. You will handle food prep, dishwashing, tray assembly, and maintain clean work areas.

No prior experience required; this on-site role offers flexible PRN scheduling and comprehensive hospital benefits for eligible staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine duties related to preparation and serving of food.
• Prepare food for cooking by washing, peeling, shredding, slicing, and mixing various food items.
• Operate dishwasher or assist with washing/sterilizing dishes, glassware, silverware, utensils, pots, pans, etc.
• Clean kitchen work areas, collect and dispose of garbage.
• Assist with food stocking.
• Serve food in cafeteria for visitors and staff and in patient rooms.
• Work in the dish room when needed.
• Work on patient tray assembly line following menu directives for determining food items for each tray.
• Follow Standard Precautions using PPE as required.
