Job summary

Grand Lake Health System is seeking a part-time food service associate to support daily meal service. Hours 600am - 230pm or 1130am - 800pm, with every other weekend and holiday rotation. Responsibilities include portioning, tray assembly, and serving meals to patients and cafeteria guests.

Role emphasizes sanitation, accuracy, and teamwork, with a preference for prior food service experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Plans daily activities to ensure timely meal service and cleanup.
• Portions/serves food neatly and with proper presentation.
• Maintains portion control when serving/portioning foods.
• Covers, labels, and dates opened or leftover items.
• Assembles patient trays and assists with late trays; serves cafeteria customers.
• Transports tray conveyors to patient units when needed.
• Retrieves dirty tray conveyors after service.
• Performs ware washing and keeps area clean and sanitized.
• Cleans pots, pans, and utensils; maintains orderly work area.
