Job summary

Monadnock Community Hospital is hiring for a per diem dietary services helper. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour plus 10% per diem rate; prior experience may raise the starting pay. You will deliver patient meals, answer phones for food orders, prepare patient trays, manage floor stock, and keep the kitchen tidy while upholding sanitation and safety standards. Drug, health screening and background checks are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient meals to rooms and service areas.
• Answer the phone when patients call down for food.
• Prepare patient trays for delivery.
• Take inventory of Floor Stock Items and replenish as needed.
• Retrieve finished trays from patient areas and bring to the kitchen.
• Operate a dish machine to wash dishes and utensils.
• Sweep and mop the kitchen floors and maintain cleanliness.
• Uphold strict sanitation and food safety guidelines.
• Assist fellow employees to complete the day’s work as a team.

Hours

This is a per diem position.
