Overview

Responsibilities
  1. Operate Point of Sale system, assist the Chef, prepare coffee, and keep the coffee and cashier stations clean.
  2. Help prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts, and assist with catering orders.
  3. Perform cashier duties using the POS system, ensuring cash accuracy with receipts, and make deposits at the end of each shift.
  4. Perform general cleaning duties, including removing trash and garbage to designated areas.
  5. Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
  6. Maintain inventory and restock supplies and food products, ensuring proper rotation and stock levels.
  7. Set up the serving line, monitor food temperatures, and notify cooks if temperatures are not within acceptable ranges.
  8. Serve hot and cold items to customers, and set up items for purchase daily.
  9. Keep refrigerator stocked, record temperatures, and rotate products using the first-in, first-out rule.
  10. Build, deliver, and pick up trays for patients, taking meal and beverage orders, and reporting to Supervisors and the Director of Food & Nutrition.
  11. Work scheduled hours and overtime as required, performing related duties as needed.
Qualifications

Previous food service experience is required.
