Responsibilities

The role involves operating the Point of Sale system, assisting the Chef, preparing coffee, maintaining cleanliness at the coffee and cashier stations, and helping prepare various foods including meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts. Additionally, responsibilities include preparing catering orders, performing cashier duties, general cleaning, trash removal, and providing service across retail areas including cashiering and line serving. Cash handling must be accurate, with deposits made at shift end. The position also involves inventory management, restocking supplies, setting up serving lines, recording food temperatures, serving items to customers, and maintaining proper stock rotation in refrigerators and pantries. The role includes building, delivering, and picking up trays for patients, taking meal and beverage orders, and reporting to Supervisors and the Director of Food & Nutrition. Flexibility to work scheduled hours and overtime as required is essential. Other related duties may be assigned.
