We are hiring immediately for a part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER position at Romulus Community Schools, located at 9650 Wayne Road, Romulus, MI 48174. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Part-time; Wednesdays and Thursdays, hours may vary. More details upon interview.

Requirement: No prior experience required.

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary: Prepares, presents, and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures ingredients.
• Transport food to and from work stations following safety standards.
• Store food properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distribute supplies and utensils.
• Follow recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
• Serve customers courteously and efficiently.
• Address customer concerns and report to supervisor.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
