Job summary

Trinity Services Group is hiring a Food Service Worker to prepare and serve a variety of meals inside a jail/correctional facility. You report to a Food Service Director and work on-site, following menus and instructions to ensure quality and safety.

The role emphasizes teamwork, a strong understanding of food handling regulations, and a willingness to learn and adapt. The position offers premium benefits, a $250 bonus for completing the Rookie's Fast Track, and DailyPay access for earned wages.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience. Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist team members in the preparation of quality foods according to the planned menu, recipes, and work instructions promptly.
• Maintain a neat and food safe workstation including cleaning as you go, pulling trash, sweeping and mopping.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food according to recipes.
• Abide by all food safety regulations about sanitation, handling and storage.
• Perform routine kitchen tasks, stay organized and clean.
• Stand for extended periods and handle physical demands of the shift.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.
