Job summary

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA is hiring a Food Service Worker II to act as a team lead for the department. This full-time, rotating shift role includes weekends with an 8-hour shift between 6am and 7pm.

You will supervise Food Service Workers, train staff, manage inventory and ensure portion control and strict sanitation standards. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, two years of food service experience, and a valid Food Handlers Card.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of food service experience are required.
• Certification: Food Handlers Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Food Service Workers in daily food and tray line setup, service and cleanup/sanitation.
• Train new staff; conduct inventory, assign tasks, monitor portion control and ensure sanitation and food handling guidelines.
• Ensure recipes, menus, quality and safe food handling guidelines are followed.
