Additional Information About The Role

• Part Time (20 Hours Per Week)
• Shift: 3:30PM to 7:30 PM

Overview

Memorial Hospital Belleville is an acute care hospital offering medical and surgical services plus critical and emergency care, including Children’s at Memorial for pediatric emergency care. It provides diagnostic and treatment services, heart and vascular care, and is accredited as a Chest Pain Center with PCI and an Acute Stroke Ready Hospital. Recently, it was designated as a Lung Cancer Screening Center and recognized as a Magnet organization for nursing excellence.

Memorial Hospital Shiloh, a 94-bed hospital with all-private suites, provides emergency care, labor & delivery, nursery, medical and surgical services, and critical care. The Food & Nutrition Department ensures high-quality nutrition services for patients, staff, and visitors, including vending and catering.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Responsible for performing food service functions such as setting up service areas, food portioning, serving, sanitation, operating cash registers, assembling patient trays, and assisting with customer requests. Food preparation may also be performed at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional and friendly customer service, following food safety and portion guidelines.
• Assembles meals according to menus, diet orders, and protocols.
• Prepares work area and organizes supplies before, during, and after shifts.
• Cleans and sanitizes work stations and utensils.
• Uses equipment and materials safely and properly.
