White Sands, a HumanGood life plan community in La Jolla, CA, is seeking individuals to join our dining services team. You will support meal service for residents in a CSC/CCRC setting, ensuring cleanliness and high standards of sanitation.

Full-time schedule includes weekend coverage; compensation ranges reflect hourly pay in a senior living environment, with benefits and opportunities to grow within HumanGood.

Formación

• 6 months experience in related field preferred; Fast food or restaurant experience preferred.
• Experience working with seniors preferred.
• Food Handler’s or ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Set tray cards; read tray service memo, set tray line and dish up soup, dinners, salads, desserts, coffee, water.
• Fill out menu; set tables for next meal; checks for supplies.
• Assist in preparation of food.
• Deliver and pick up food carts.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining room and kitchen; adhere to sanitary guidelines.
• Ensure resident satisfaction by reflecting professionalism and customer service.

Shift

• Full-time: Friday - Tuesday 6:00 am - 2:00 pm in Health Center

Pay Rate

• $18.25-$21.00/hr.

Job Duties

• Set tray cards; read tray service memo, set tray line and dish up soup, dinners, salads, desserts, coffee, water;
• Fill out menu; set tables for next meal; checks for supplies;
• Assist in preparation of food;
• Deliver and pick up food carts;

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively (orally and written) with residents;
• Available on holidays, evenings and weekends (we will work with your schedule.
