Job summary

HumanGood in Los Gatos, CA is seeking a friendly Food Service Worker to help on the trayline, serve residents, wash dishes, and keep dining areas clean. You may assist with stocking and food prep such as salads and garnishes, and shifts can vary to include mornings or evenings.

You’ll represent the dining team with professionalism to ensure resident satisfaction. This is a full-time role Sunday–Thursday, 11am–7pm, at $23–$25 per hour DOE.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in wait staff, serving, or dining services required.
• Prior customer service experience.
• Prior food service in a restaurant experience.
• Prior experience working with seniors (preferred).
• Availability that might include evenings, weekends, & holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up and work on a trayline.
• Serve food to residents.
• Wash dishes and/or pots and pans.
• Buss dishes and/or maintain dining room cleanliness.
• Prepare simple foods such as salads, desserts or garnishes.

Under general supervision, the Food Service Worker performs any or all duties associated with setting up and working on a trayline, serving food to residents, washing dishes and/or pots and pans, bussing dishes, preparing food, such as salads, desserts, garnishes and/or maintaining cleanliness of food service and dining room areas. Also, they would need to assist in putting away stock as needed. May be required to work varying shifts, including morning or evening shifts. As a representative and team member of dining services, this position is expected to present oneself in a manner that reflects professionalism and ensures resident satisfaction in the dining department.
