• We are hiring immediately for full-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions.
• Location: VCUHS - 1250 East Marshall Street, Richmond, VA 23298. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time schedule. Days and hours may vary. Must be able to work every other weekend. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Experience preferred.
• Perks: $500 sign-on bonus, paid out as 1/2 at 30 days and 1/2 at 90 days!
• Pay Range: $15.00 to $15.10 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares, presents, and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator following safety standards.
• Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
• Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following steps of service.
• Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
• Comply with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
