• We are hiring immediately for a full-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER position.
• Location: Maine Coast Hospital - 50 Union Street, Ellsworth, ME 04605. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time. Days and hours may vary. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Cook/Prep experience required.
• Pay Range: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares, presents, and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure ingredients.
• Transport food to and from work stations, following safety standards.
• Store food properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and equipment.
• Use approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and portion control.
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Resolve customer concerns and communicate with supervisors.
• Maintain compliance with service standards, inventory, and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
