We are hiring immediately for a full-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER position at Maine Coast Hospital, located at 50 Union Street, Ellsworth, ME 04605. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full time. Days and hours may vary. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Cook/Prep experience required.

Pay Range: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Prepares, presents, and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
2. Weigh and measure ingredients.
3. Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator following safety standards.
4. Store food properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
5. Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
6. Distribute supplies, utensils, and equipment.
7. Use approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and portion control.
8. Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
9. Resolve customer concerns and communicate with supervisors.
10. Follow sanitation and safety requirements.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
