Morrison Living is hiring immediately for full-time Food Service Worker positions.

• Location: Good Samaritan Society - 401 West 2nd Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57104.
• Schedule: Full-time; days and hours may vary. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior food service experience preferred but not required.

• Pay Range: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares, presents, and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator following safety standards.
• Stores food properly, following wrapping, dating, safety, and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
• Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality, proper serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
• Follows sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
