We are hiring immediately for full‑time FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions at Avon Local Schools, 35600 Bently Drive, Avon, OH 44011. Online applications only. Full‑time schedules may vary, typically 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Requirements: Prior food‑service and kitchen experience in an educational setting. Pay: $16.00–$17.00 per hour. Job Summary

Prepares, presents, and serves food as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
• Move pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food‑safety, and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
• Utilize approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash‑control procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
