Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties, including general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards during food prep, service, and in dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Performs prep work like washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables. Measures ingredients as needed.
2. Carries pans, kettles, and trays to and from work stations, following safety standards. Distributes supplies and utensils.
3. Stores foods properly, following safety, dating, and rotation procedures.
4. Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
5. Ensures sanitation and safety compliance.
6. Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality, proper serving temperatures, and portion control.
7. Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following service steps.
8. Interacts with customers and resolves complaints professionally.
9. Relays information to supervisors.
10. Processes sales transactions accurately.
11. Handles cash, accepts various payment methods, and issues receipts.
12. Follows procedures for cash refunds.
13. Manages change funds and cash drawer in accordance with standards.
14. Replenishes condiments, beverages, and supplies while keeping the area clean.
15. Performs other duties as assigned.
