We are hiring immediately for part-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER positions.

Location: Burrillville Public Schools - 2300 Bronco Highway, Harrisville, RI 02830. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Part-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 1:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirement: No previous experience required.

Pay Range: $15.00 to $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Performs cashiering duties, including general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in the preparation, service, and dining room facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables. Weighs and measures ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator, following safety standards. Distributes supplies, utensils, and equipment.
• Stores foods in designated areas following safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
• Uses recipes and standards to ensure quality, temperature, and portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Interacts with customers and resolves complaints professionally.
• Relays information to supervisors.
• Performs sales transactions, enters sales into the register, makes change, and accepts various payment methods.
• Issues receipts and handles cash responsibly.
• Replenishes condiments, beverages, and supplies, maintaining cleanliness.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
