Location: Henry Ford Genesys Hospital - 1 Genesys Parkway, Grand Blanc, MI 48439. Note: online applications accepted only.

Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties and general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in preparation, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables; weigh and measure ingredients.
2. Transport food, supplies, and utensils safely between stations.
3. Store foods properly, adhering to safety and rotation procedures.
4. Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
5. Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
6. Use approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and proper serving temperatures.
7. Serve customers politely and efficiently, following steps of service.
8. Interact with customers and resolve complaints professionally.
9. Relay relevant information to supervisors.
10. Perform sales transactions accurately, including making change and accepting various payment methods.
11. Issue receipts and handle cash refunds following standard procedures.
12. Manage assigned cash drawers responsibly, ensuring accuracy.
13. Replenish condiments, beverages, and supplies, maintaining cleanliness.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.
