+ We are hiring immediately for full-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER positions.

+ Address: Alexian Brothers Medical Center - 800 Biesterfield Road, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007. Note: online applications accepted only.

+ Schedule: Full-time. Shifts from 5:30 am to 2:00 pm, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, and 11:00 am to 7:30 pm; days may vary. More details upon interview.

+ Requirements: 3 to 5 years of customer service and food service experience required. Inventory and ordering experience preferred but not mandatory.

+ Pay Range: $16.00 to $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Performs cashiering and food service duties while maintaining sanitation standards in food prep, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties

1. Prepare food, wash, peel, cut, and measure ingredients.
2. Transport food and supplies safely.
3. Store foods properly, following safety protocols.
4. Clean work areas and equipment.
5. Follow sanitation and safety standards.
6. Use recipes and standards to ensure quality and portion control.
7. Serve customers courteously and efficiently.
8. Handle customer complaints professionally.
9. Relay information to supervisors.
10. Process sales and transactions accurately.
11. Manage cash drawer and receipts responsibly.
12. Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness.
13. Perform additional duties as assigned.
