• We are hiring immediately for full-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER positions.
• Address: Alexian Brothers Medical Center - 800 Biesterfield Road, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time schedule. 5:30 am to 2:00 pm, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, and 11:00 am to 7:30 pm; days may vary. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: 3 to 5 years of previous customer service and food service experience is required. Previous inventory and ordering experience is preferred but not required.
• Perks: Uniform provided, shift shoes stipend, willingness to train, and growth opportunities!
• Pay Range: $16.00 to $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Performs cashiering duties and general food service, maintaining sanitation standards in all areas.

Essential Duties:

• Food prep: washing, peeling, cutting, measuring ingredients.
• Transporting food and supplies safely.
• Storing foods per safety standards.
• Cleaning work areas and equipment.
• Ensuring sanitation and safety compliance.
• Using recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
• Serving customers courteously and efficiently.
• Handling customer complaints professionally.
• Communicating with supervisors.
• Processing sales and transactions accurately.
• Managing cash drawer and receipts.
• Replenishing supplies and maintaining cleanliness.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.
