We are hiring immediately for a full-time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER position.

Location: Southmont School Corp - 6425 South US 231, Crawfordsville, IN 47933. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, day shift. Hours may vary; more details upon interview.

Requirement: No experience necessary.

Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties and general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in food prep, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables. Measures ingredients as needed.
2. Carrys pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, following safety standards. Distributes supplies and utensils.
3. Stores foods properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
4. Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
5. Ensures sanitation and safety compliance.
6. Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and portion control.
7. Serves customers courteously and efficiently, following steps of service.
8. Interacts with customers and resolves complaints professionally.
9. Relays relevant information to supervisors.
10. Performs sales transactions accurately, including entering sales, making change, and accepting various payment methods.
11. Issues receipts and handles refunds following standard procedures.
12. Manages assigned cash drawers and receipts, ensuring accuracy.
13. Replenishes condiments, beverages, and supplies while maintaining cleanliness.
14. Performs additional duties as assigned.
