+ Location: Middletownship - 101 West Pacific Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. Note: online applications accepted only.

Job Summary

Performs cashiering duties, including general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in preparation, service, and dining areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables. Weighs and measures ingredients.
2. Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator, following safety standards. Distributes supplies, utensils, and equipment.
3. Stores foods properly, adhering to wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
4. Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
5. Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
6. Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality, proper serving temperatures, and portion control.
7. Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner, following service steps.
8. Interacts with customers and resolves complaints professionally.
9. Relays relevant information to supervisors.
10. Performs sales transactions, enters sales into the register, makes change, accepts various payment methods, and issues receipts.
11. Follows procedures for cash refunds and manages cash drawer responsibly.
12. Replenishes condiments, beverages, and supplies, maintaining cleanliness.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
