**Job Description**

The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food and meal preparation, maintain cash receipts and meal records, and assist in completing daily reports. The role requires maintaining high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

**Long Description**

Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is $21.18. This amount is an estimate of the compensation Aramark expects to offer at the time of posting.

**Job Responsibilities**

1. Prepare quality food and baked goods according to the menu.
2. Complete daily transaction reports.
3. Understand meal components and ensure proper storage.
4. Serve food following schedules and policies.
5. Care for kitchen equipment, especially knives.
6. Prepare various food items and beverages promptly.
7. Add garnishments for presentation and customer satisfaction.
8. Assist in cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and equipment.
9. Follow food safety regulations for sanitation and storage.
10. Adhere to uniform policy.
11. Coordinate with the manager on daily menu preparations.
12. Monitor food temperatures.
13. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
14. Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and ware washing.
15. Manage garbage and kitchen floor cleanliness.
16. Perform additional duties as assigned, including other kitchen areas.
17. This role may involve physical activity such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended standing or walking. Uniforms and PPE may be required.
