Job Description

The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food/meal preparation, maintain cash receipts and meal records, and assist in completing daily reports. The role requires maintaining high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

Long Description

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position is $21.18. This is Aramark’s estimated compensation as of the posting date.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods per menu
• Complete daily transaction reports
• Understand meal components
• Store food accurately and hygienically
• Serve food according to schedules and policies
• Care for kitchen equipment, especially knives
• Prepare various food items and beverages promptly
• Add garnishments for presentation and customer satisfaction
• Clean and maintain refrigerators, freezers, and equipment
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
• Follow uniform policy
• Coordinate with the manager daily for menu prep
• Supervise food temperature safety
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas
• Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and ware washing
• Manage garbage and kitchen floor sanitation
• Perform additional duties as assigned

This role may involve physical activity such as lifting, bending, and extended standing, and may require uniforms and PPE.
