Job summary

OVEE is seeking a Food Service Worker for the school cafeteria. The position runs 5.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, during the school year only, with starting pay of $15.97 per hour.

Responsibilities include preparing food using standard recipes, serving in the cafeteria, and assisting with special events. Candidates should be punctual, dependable, and able to lift 25 pounds. Prior food service experience is helpful but not required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• This foodservice work involves utilizing standard recipes, preparing food for cafeteria service, and other special events.
• Demonstrate ability to get along well with children and adults
• Punctual and Dependable with a Good attendance record
• Prior experience with food service helpful, but not necessary
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds unaided
• Ability to perform duties and comply with all district requirements and Board of Education policies
