Prepare and serve food according to recipes, production records, and safety standardsMaintain a clean, safe kitchen and service areaStock serving lines, salad bars, and milk coolersFollow proper procedures for food storage, rotation, and sanitationServe meals to students, staff, and visitors in a courteous mannerAssist with putting away deliveries and organizing inventorySweep, mop, and take out trash as neededFollow all local, state, federal, and company health regulationsStep in to assist team members or cover shifts as neededSubmit reports and meet deadlines as assignedCarry out any additional duties to support the kitchen team and school meal program
Previous food service or cleaning experience preferredStrong work ethic and ability to work well with othersComfortable with repetitive tasks and following a routineBasic math and computer skillsMust pass a background check and fingerprint screeningReliable transportation requiredEnjoys working around children and being part of a school communityRespectful, inclusive, and professional with all coworkers and customers
