About This Position

$17.00/hour + $1250 new hire bonus

This position is located inside of a jail/correctional facility.

The Food Service Supervisor is responsible for supervising inmate labor and team members assisting with food service in a correctional facility. Responsibilities include preparing and serving food according to menus and work instructions, utilizing food prep utensils and machines, and ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met.

• Supervise inmate labor and team members during food prep and service
• Prepare and assist in food preparation according to recipes and menus

• Train other food service workers
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen environment
• Follow uniform policy
• Manage waste and cleanliness
