Job Summary

The Food Service Worker I serves meals to customers in a timely, friendly manner, complies with all food safety regulations, maintains a clean and organized environment, and performs dishwashing duties.

Pay Range

Minimum $17.22, Midpoint $22.82, Maximum $28.42

Pay is determined by knowledge, skills, experience, education, and position requirements.

Experience Requirements

• Required: Minimum one year of general food service experience.
• Preferred: 2+ years of food service experience.

Educational Requirements

• Required: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; experience can substitute for education.
• Preferred: Associate degree.

Skills and Certifications

• Required: Fluency in English, knowledge of food safety and sanitation, organizational skills, teamwork, customer service.
• Preferred: Computer skills, web-based program proficiency.
• Licensure: None required; Serv-Safe certification preferred.

Physical and Environmental Demands

Medium to high energy; ability to lift 40-50 lbs, push/pull 150-200 lbs, and perform various physical activities; work in environments with noise, chemicals, and temperature extremes.
