Job summary

Taher, Inc. is seeking a Lead Foodservice Worker in Union Grove, WI to join our school lunch program. You will oversee a kitchen team, assist with preparation, serving, and cleanup, and help maintain high food safety standards in a fast-paced school environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and excellent guest service, with regular weekday hours and no night shifts. Training and uniform/PPE provisions are included, along with opportunities for advancement within a family-owned food

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a related role preferred.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Able to follow spoken and written directions.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Successfully pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and assign work to the team and oversee task completion.
• Train and guide staff on job duties, food safety, and sanitation.
• Prepare and assemble food items per recipes and directions.
• Prepare condiments and utensil areas for service.
• Break down, clean and sanitize work stations.
• Contribute to a positive work environment.
• Demonstrate integrity, dependability, and punctuality.
• Maintain professional appearance and guest service.
• Follow food safety requirements/guidelines.
• Assist with daily paperwork, ordering and related tasks.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by leadership.
